I'm sure most of you know and have been receiving a ton of emails about
re-signing up to continue receiving newsletters. Well, I've got good news, you don't have to re-sign up for my newsletter ~ 'cause I'm not gonna do it anymore. LOL! I was never really good at it anyway. And honestly the best way to keep up with me is to follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Amazon for updates. Of course you can always check back here!!! #onelessthingtodeleteinyourinbox Love, Ryan On April 5th, my husband and I were married 15 years! This year it lined up perfectly with Spring Break and we were able to celebrate it in Las Vegas. On the night of our anniversary I showered, did my hair and make-up, slipped into a black dress (I had bought especially for the occasion) and off we went for a night out at one of our fav restaurants on the strip. My son was with us and he had my phone in his hand as we made our way through the hotel. He snapped our picture a few times along the way. Below is a picture from that night. Isn't that sweet? Well...as we continued to walk and my son continued to snap pics - I realized that my husband was still in the same scuzzy t-shirt and shorts he wore all day. Hmm? I begin to have a WTF moment. Seriously? You couldn't even change your shirt? Then, below, these pictures occurred. He huffed that he'd go back and change and I said no, just to forget it.
He said he would, I said don't bother. Lets just say - Thank God for wine at dinner! A little red and the romance returned. But part of me just loves that my son caught this moment on film. It's so real and it's so us! #RealLifeRomance INGREDIENTS:DIRECTIONS:AND ENJOY:**Just in case...
Place kisses on pretzels. Melt kisses for like 2 minutes in the oven - careful not to burn chocolate. Press M&Ms into melted chocolate. Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy! One of the perks of being a New Jerseyan is definitely all the beautiful beaches we have!
Yesterday, I participated for the second year in a row at the Mid-Winter Beach Run in Manasquan, NJ. By far my favorite 5K to participate in. And by participate I mean walk because I don't really run. Now, if you're looking at the pics and wondering how I was able to take them without capturing any of the other participants - its because I was a bit behind. I had a little bit of a delayed start. The bridge was out and I had to follow a detour but instead of following the large orange detour signs, I followed my Navi and it took me in a circle back to the bridge. Technology!!! *Shakes angry fist and makes an excuse. But hey, I got there and thats what counts!!! ~ Oh, and for the record, I didn't come in last. I did manage to power walk my way past a few strollers toward the end! ![]() I wasn't going to do paperbacks for the Two-Night One-Nights but then one day I impulsively decided, wait - I do want to do paperbacks. So, I did them. I also had an impulsive moment where I thought I might want to do a signing. That moment passed. Would you rather string up all the outdoor Christmas lights for your neighbors
or wrap all of the holiday presents for your family members? Wrap gifts! Would you rather have Christmas dinner at the White House or with your extended family? I'm gonna need a 3rd option. Would you rather have snow every day during December or not have any snow at all? I LOVE snow but yuck I'd have to choose no snow at all. *Wait - as I re-read these I may actually change my mind. I really do love snow. Would you rather have all your presents crapily wrapped or not have them wrapped at all? Wrapped crappy. Would you rather eat holiday cookies or watch holiday movies? Holiday cookies. I mean I can still watch TV right? Would you rather have a holiday party every single night in December or no holiday parties to attend at all? No holiday parties. The idea of having to squish myself into Spanx, dress up and actually brush my hair that much would be a freaking nightmare. Would you rather only eat fruitcake for holiday dessert or not have dessert at all? Fruitcake. I don't like fruitcake but I'd hate having no dessert more. I pretty much think I could shovel in anything as long as there is sugar involved. *Hence the Spanx squishing. Look at these fantastic pics!! Have a pic? Send it to me, I'll add it to the slideshow!
